A Magical Thief or Adventurous Thief

The book ‘The Thief Lord’ by Cornelia Funke is probably one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life. It is basically an adventurous book with a little bit of magical fantasy involved in the story. This is a very fine book for students aging from 11-13 yrs old and those who like to read adventurous books with magical fantasy involved. Prosper and Bo, two brothers, ran away from their rich aunt and uncle because they wanted the brothers to be separated; but Prosper and Bo were against this desire of their aunt. The brothers ran to Venice where they met other orphans who used to live off by stealing. Their leader, Scipio, is the head of this gang and is called the Thief Lord. But the story twists and turns when the Thief Lord gets a job to steal something. Scipio’s biggest secret spreads away to the gang and… The author’s style of writing and the plots of the story make this book a very suspenseful and exciting book to read. I would give this book  4 out of 5 stars.
